Confronting the Unforgiving Dark There is a moment in Alien: Isolation when you realize that the game is not going to let you off easy. You are hiding in a locker, the Xenomorph's wet breathing inches away, and your motion tracker is flickering with interference. On the standard difficulty, this is tense.
